Career Talk

What is Career Talk?

An information session about the Health Science/Nursing program you are interested in.

It is required for all Health Science/Nursing programs at Greenville Technical College.

What information is provided?

Attendees receive information about the profession including job opportunities, physical requirements, salary, and typical job requirements.  In addition, you will receive an overview of the program requirements and information on the admissions process.

Am I required to attend?

Yes.  Individuals considering entering a program in one of the Health Science/Nursing programs must attend one of the Career Talk sessions prior to being admitted into their program of interest.

You should attend a session as soon as possible so you have an opportunity to learn more about the profession of interest and the program requirements prior to beginning the academic work.

Where are the Career Talk sessions held?

Career Talk for the programs in the Medical Imaging Sciences department are held in the Allied Health building (Building #120) on the main campus (Barton Campus).  Parking is located across the road from the building.  Enter the front door of the Allied Health building and there will be someone there to direct you.
