PATHOLOGY CASE STUDY PRESENTATION
INTRODUCTION:
As a radiographer it is imperative that you be familiar
with the different disease processes and their radiographic appearance.
You are to search the web for a pathological condition and provide a case
study presentation to the class. All presentations are to be created in
Power Point and placed in the classroom Case Study File for future reference.
In addition to the web, your course text and other pathology books may
be used to enhance the presentation.

TASKS: Each student will produce a 15 minute case study presentation, on a pathologic condition. Research is to be conducted on the web with supplemental material from texts. The project is to be presented to the class using Power Point.
Content of the case study presentation
is to include:
Etiology
Pathology
Symptoms/signs
Diagnosis
Prognosis
Treatment
Radiographic appearance of the pathology

Search various web sites and select pathology to research.
Utilize various web sites to find information on your selection.
Utilize texts to supplement information.
Interview radiologists and technologists for assistance.
Copy films from clinical sites to present with case study.
Prepare a Power Point presentation to include the content described above.
