Senior GIS Consultant, Federal Programs Division

Provide senior technical leadership to diverse staff at Robins Air Force Base.   Oversee the GeoBase Program for the base.   Advise government managers on technology implementation, strategic planning, GIS application development and management, data architecture and management as well as best use of the data and analytical tools.   Provide hands-on GIS project management and technical expertise.   Managed staff consisting of GIS, CAD and database technology specialists who supply a variety of clients, both internal and external, with applied technology services. Team leader for prime contractor to the US Army Space Command Spectral Operations Resource Center. Provide support to active missions with geospatial data. Perform multi/ hyperspectral image analysis and create products. Create an enterprise data management plan for a multi-terabyte data archive. Implement a web-based service for distributing geospatial imagery and data to deployed forces. Develop and deliver technical training and briefings to outside agencies and units on SORC technology, capabilities and products. Project lead for a technology development team. As technology team leader, initiate research, development and transition of new geospatial technology for the military and provide technical leadership to the unit.

Intermap Technologies, Inc. - Englewood, CO (5/2000 – 8/2003) -    A world leader in providing IFSAR derived terrain and RADAR image data providing GIS and Remote Sensing products to federal, civil and municipal governments as well as private industry.

Director of Data Services

Built the Intermap Data Services department from the ground up, including the conception, development, implementation and management of the Intermap data archive and on-line data store.   The system houses terabytes of digital elevation and orthorectified image map products and serves the products via web-enabled software applications for customer order fulfillment. Responsible for managing a staff of GIS analysts, database administrators, and remote sensing staff that supported Intermap business functions, business development, and marketing and sales efforts.   Also published technical papers, provided technical training and workshops, performed project management, requirements analysis and user needs assessments, proposal and scope of work writing, sales and customer support, customer interaction, and supported sales and business development.   Technical sales and business development experience (FEMA, railroad companies and in Latin America ) in conjunction with the sales force on customer site and at trade shows and conferences.

Senior Geoscientist

Responsible for GIS and Remote Sensing analysis and interpretation of multispectral , hyperspectral , IFSAR/radar, and other remote sensing data for joint forces mission critical efforts worldwide. Development and use of applications of hyperspectral data (particularly target and anomaly detection, LOCs , force protection, terrain analysis/categorization, etc.). Produce products from Landsat , SPOT, IRS-1C, RADARSAT, AVHRR, HYDICE, ASRP, and NASA EOS (MODIS, AVIRIS) data/imagery. Utilized RSI ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, ESRI ArcInfo and ArcView .
