The Network Systems Administration Department, part of
the Technical Business Division, provides education in Computer
Technology/Information Technology that pertains to local and wide area
networks, Linux network administration, IT Help Desk/Technical Support, and Cisco
Systems Networking.
The department is responsible for teaching classes that support an
Associate Degree in Computer Technology and Certificate programs.
New Advanced Network Security Certificate Available
Greenville Tech is proud to announce a new Advanced Network
Security Certificate is now available. It is designed to provide
students with a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of network
security including computer security fundamentals, hardening network
operating systems, implementing and administering a network security
infrastructure, identifying and preventing network attacks,
conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security
