Complete Greenville Tech Application Online, do not pay application fee at this time. Designate Major as Geomatics Technology Degree.

 

Complete FAFSA application for Lottery Tuition assistance Online.  Not completing this info may delay your lottery approval and mean that you must pay all your tuition up front. The FASFA application is a two step process. 

 

Step 1: Go to FAFSA website http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/index.htm

And complete in column one “Register for Pin” section. If you provide an email address they will email you a PIN otherwise they will mail it to you.

                                   

Step 2: After you receive you PIN go back on the web and fill out and Submit the FASFA application based on you 2002-2003 Tax return. Be sure to put the Greenville Tech Code 003991. Lottery Funds are not based on income but you must see first if the FASFA turns up any other Federal Aid prior to the college approving you lottery funds.

 

Complete your Placement Test Requirements by one of the methods listed below:

YOU MUST COMPLETE ONE

 

1.                                          Send a transcript of your previous college work showing Math and English courses completed to Greenville Tech, Student Records.

 

2.                                          OR -Make an appointment at your local Technical College to take either the ASCET or COMPASS placement test. This will determine what Math, Reading and English course are appropriate for you. You will also need this at your home college to enroll in courses. Have the testing center FAX your test results to Greenville Tech Testing Center at 864-250-8759. There may be a fee for this test if you are not one of their students. If Test were previously taken have them fax a copy to Greenville Tech.

3.                                          OR – Make an appointment at Greenville Tech to take the ASCET or COMPASS placement test.

 

Check with your local Technical College to see what other courses you may take in the Fall semester to be sure that you are enrolled in Six hours to qualify for Lottery tuition assistance.

 

Contact Dept Head to verify that all your paperwork is complete.
